There are many situations in real-life dart matches and a common one is if one team shows up shorthanded - not enough players. Many leagues allow teams to play "shorthanded" games, e.g. 2 vs 1 or 3 vs 2. DartConnect accommodates shorthanded games in league play by doing the following: - Pick player on the Select Opponents screen as you would normally
- For the side that is shorthanded, pick ONLY the players that are present
- For example, in a short handed doubles game you would pick 2 players for one team and only 1 player for the shorthanded team
- On the Select Opponents screen the shorthanded team will be listed with the name of the present player and "(short)" (see below)
- During gameplay, when it is the missing person's turn, the system will automatically skip their turn and move to the other team's turn, for the missing players turn, the scoreboard will display "--"
